BLUE entered politics in 2017 by contesting for the Senatorial vacancy of Montserrado County as an Independent Candidate and came second without any party support. His work as a philanthropist and a trailblazer of changein the Social Sector of Liberia affording tons of youth the opportunity to excel through direct interventions as well as the establishment of the HOTTFM Radio Network with Stations in 4 Counties made him an overnight favorite to many.

 

 

 

 

In his short term as a Freshman Representative, Blue has sponsored the Tourism Bill passed by the Legislature that will establish the National Tourism Authority and has been active in advocating for budgetary inclusion of the Collective Society of Liberia to empower the Creative sector of Liberia including Musicians Union, Movie Union, National Cultural and Writers Associations, Fine Arts Associations and Broadcast Union.

 

Before Politics, Blue was an international Disc Jockey that traveled across the World performing and later became an entrepreneur owning 3 Radio Stations across Liberia and 1 Television Station as well as a Philanthropist through the Blue Foundation, constructing community infrastructures across Montserrado County, providing FREE Ambulance service and FREE community Medical outreach service and providing Free education for over 250 Students on his foundation scholarship scheme.

 

 

Blue Continuous advocacy for Electricity has accelerated the distribution of Electricity across District 17 after 35 years. He has also made sure that concessions using our roads, maintain and rehabilitate the roads as well as plans to address feeder roads maintenance during the dry season. Blue has lead the charge for lots of community developments and Empowerment including the Clayashland Bridge Construction, The Zakama FIeld Community Center, The Motorcycle Riders Headquarters Construction, Community Social Support and Empowerment to Women in the Communities through Nonprofit Financial Assistance.

 

 

 

Blue attended the Lott Carey Baptist Mission School and graduated from the Norcross High School in Georgia, USA and later an Associate Degree From the Ferris State University in Michigan in the discipline of HVAC System Technology. Presently he is a MA Candidate at the University of Liberia. He is married to Mrs. Adrienne Benson with 5 Children. Blue is a regular guy with the passion for development in District 17 and Liberia.

 

 

 

 

Blue’s National interest is to see the Tourism sector of Liberia flourish to heights that will provide a realistic alternative to economic Redemption as well as making sure that District 17 is well developed including the Construction of a referral Hospital and a Technical and Vocational Institution, Expansion of Electricity and Pipe borne Water, paved feeder roads and the complete rehabilitation of the Unity Conference Center to name a few and he is honored to fight for these opportunities each and everyday as a Representative.
