Hon. Bernard Benson Inspires 21 Graduates at Koimene Impact Foundation Ceremony

Today, October 18, 2025, Hon. Bernard Blue Benson Jr. delivered an inspiring message at the Koimene Impact Foundation (KIF) graduation ceremony, where 21 young people from Montserrado County District #17 celebrated their successful completion of a one-year substance abuse rehabilitation program.
The event marked a major milestone for both the graduates and the foundation, highlighting ongoing efforts to empower and reintegrate at-risk youth into society through education, mentorship, and skill-building.
In his keynote address, Hon. Benson commended the graduates for their resilience and determination throughout the program. He urged them to use their newfound skills to create positive change within their communities and to remain steadfast in their personal growth.
“Your journey does not end here—it begins here,” Hon. Benson encouraged. “You’ve overcome challenges that many cannot imagine. Now, it’s time to turn your experiences into strength and your strength into service.”
Demonstrating his continued commitment to youth development, Hon. Benson pledged L$100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Liberian Dollars) to support the foundation’s ongoing initiatives. He also committed to underwriting the establishment of a new computer lab through funds from the District Development Initiatives program, aimed at enhancing digital literacy among young people in District #17.
Following the graduation ceremony, the lawmaker is expected to attend two additional community programs, further underscoring his deep engagement and active presence in the district.
As the Representative of Montserrado County Electoral District #17, Hon. Benson has been at the forefront of numerous development projects, including infrastructure upgrades, bridge construction, and road rehabilitation. His dedication to improving the lives of residents—especially the youth—has earned him widespread respect and recognition.
